Carbon: An Unauthorised Biography wins the Grand Prix at Global Science Film Festival.

Writer and co-director Daniella Ortega is in Zurich on the invitation of the Global Science Film Festival (hosted by Swiss Science Academy and others) where, last night, ‘Carbon’ was awarded the major prize for best full-length film of 2023.

The winning films in each category are awarded with a “Walking Ibex” award. The “Walking Ibex” imitates Alberto Giacometti's style in the iconic sculpture “L'Homme qui marche I (The Walking Man I)”.

We are incredibly grateful for this acknowledgement and thrilled to be part of this prestigious festival.
